Dekro Paints have a range of rust converters that reacts with the iron oxide (rust) and converts it to a ferrous tannate, turning it black when the reaction is completed. Allow to dry for 3-4hrs then overcoat with water based or solvent based top coats.
Dekster 711 Holdtight 102 is a single component salt removing, flash rust preventing, and degreasing additive.
Use to remove all contaminants including salts, oil, and blast residue. Use this product in conjunction with power washing, power wash after dry abrasive blasting, wet abrasive blasting, or waterjetting. Dekster 711 Holdtight 102 is also effective when used with hand tool or power tool cleaning.
